Since the 2012 season, Steve has been in Chicago performing with Shattered Globe Theatre in Our Country’s Good and The Whaleship Essex, and has also been performing with First Folio Theatre in The Merry Wives of Windsor and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. His life continues in Chicago and his heart remains in Montana.
Grayson could not be more honored to be a part of “Bard in the Backcountry.” She would like to thank Joel and Bill for taking a chance on her as a fresh graduate from Oklahoma City University two summers ago, and the amazing people of Montana for making that summer such an incredible experience. Grayson now resides in Chicago where she continues to perform.
Kody Walker considers the summer he spend in Montana one that forever changed his life. Up until that particular summer he hadn’t grasped the importance of his career and the power of theater. His experience with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks taught him that everyone, no matter where they happen to live, should have access to amazing, beautiful, live theater. Casey is a Minnesota native who fell in love with MSIP on his first summer tour, so he came back to play Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Oliver in As You Like it. During the fall he toured schools as Proteus in Two Gentleman of Verona and hopes to join the company many times in the future!
Dan lives and works as an actor around the Chicago area, in addition to working as a musician and percussionist. He continues his Shakespeare career with wonderful people at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival and others. Still, Montana and her neighbors keep calling…
Andrea San Miguel
Andrea recently relocated to Chicago from her former home based of Minneapolis. She is happy to continue her acting career in the great theater town of Chicago, but her heart has been forever touched by the people of Montana.
“I am a Georgia boy who lives in Chicago but who now has a Montana heart. My love for Shakespeare took me out to Big Sky country for a summer, but it was the beauty of its land and its people that keeps all the wonderful memories racing through my mind.”
Miriam Reuter is currently living and performing in Chicago with Lifeline Theatre and Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, as well as producing with her own company, (re)discover theatre. She misses Montana daily, and cannot even begin to sum up what her experience with MSIP meant to her. She’s incredibly grateful.
Sean lives and works in the Chicago area where he continues to pursue his acting career. The summer Sean came to Montana to play Henry V was the first time he had been to Montana. His experience with the people he encountered and the ensemble he performed with has made him a better person and he is grateful for it.
Nile Hawver is a two-year veteran of MSIP, currently residing in Boston, MA, and missing the mountains every day. In addition to acting, Nile loves photography, singing, playing and writing music, woodworking, and computers. He hopes to return to Montana someday soon.
