I have spent much of the month of January working on the final details to ready this film for its world premiere. Lucky for me the mix master Jeremiah has a studio down the street from my house. I can pad down there in my snow boots with a cuppa’ joe and see what is happening in the studio. Jeremiah Slovarp and pro sound editor Josh McRae have made this film sound amazing. Ian Hatton will be pleased– his music sounds so good! These final stages, when the film starts to move to the next level of polish– its one of the best parts of filmmaking to me. All that hard work and sweat from our early planning to the hot long days of being in the field to the hours and hours of crafting the story in editing, and then the pro’s get hold of it, and it starts to really shine.
I am happy to say the final mix is done!
